Naomi Brown Meyer

Mrs. Naomi Ruth Brown Meyer, 91, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, September 3, 2011, at her residence. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Farmer United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Joe Connelly officiating. A native of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Meyer was born March 5, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Chester Brown and Theda Hughes Brown. She was a business manager, homemaker, and volunteer for Hospice of Randolph County. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meyer was preceded in death by her brother, Jack E. Brown. Mrs. Meyer is survived by sons, William Meyer and wife, Gail, both of the home, Jack E. Meyer, of Gap, PA.; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
