Nancy Mcneill

Nancy Carolyn McNeill, 77, of Asheboro, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Union Grove Baptist Church, Seagrove, with Dr. Ron Chaney, Rev. Kenneth Tucker and Rev. Wayne Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph Co., Mrs. McNeill was born September 7, 1941, the daughter of the late Arnold and Frances Cagle McNeill. She was an accountant with Powell & Powell Accounting, was a member of NC Baptist Mens Disaster Relief, and an official for the Board of Elections. She delivered Meals on Wheels and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. McNeill was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, a member of the Crafters at the church, and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Farrell McNeill, of the home; daughter, Jennifer McNeill Mabe and husband, Bobby, of Seagrove; son, Scott McNeill and wife, Cindy, of Ruffin, NC, sister, Betty Moran and husband, James, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Zachariah Mabe, Hannah McNeill; nephew, Britt Moran; and niece, Beth Moran. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
