Nancy T. Egbert

Nancy Lee Thompson Egbert, 75, of Asheboro, died April 2, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Her memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Reeder officiating. Born in Orange County, NC, to the late Ernest Wyatt Thompson and Clara Lucille Dixon Thompson, she lived most of her life in Randolph County, working at several retail stores, including Roses and Eckerd Drugs. She is survived by her husband, Tom Egbert of the home; her children, Mark Anthony Needham, Jodie Lynn Needham Paschal and Angela Renee Needham Lundy; stepdaughters, Dana Egbert Higgins and husband, Paul, Kimberly Egbert Domras and husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Amanda Needham Phillips, Jennifer Brooke Baylor, Kristen Pierce Marine, Ashley Smith, Josh Hayes, Ana Iylsworth, Rachel Siegel, Olivia and Carina Domras; and her many beloved great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, James Michael Egbert and wife, Mary Lou, Mary Jane Reid, all of Greensboro, Dayne and Ev Griffith of Advance; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of the donor's choice. She will forever be in our hearts.
