Nancy Shelton Campbell

Nancy Pearl Shelton Campbell, 76, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Rushwood Church, Asheboro, with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Born in Randolph County, NC on April 15, 1938, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Phillip Arthur Shelton and Lula Frances Lewis Shelton. She was retired from BB Walker Shoe Company. Mrs. Campbell attended Rushwood Church, where she was a member of the Sunday school class. Surviving are her husband, Bernie Garrett Campbell, of the home, daughter, Beverly Dawn Ingram, of Roanoke, VA, son, Clinton Bryon Ingram, of Dallas, TX, stepdaughters, Debbie Russell and husband, Terry, Nora Campbell all of Asheboro; stepsons, Johnny Campbell, Jesse Campbell, Bernie Campbell, all of Asheboro, Clifton Campbell, of Virginia, special nieces, Joyce Beers, of Level Cross, Becky Williams, of Seagrove; four grandchildren, twelve step grandchildren, and twenty-one step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro.
