Myrtle Elizabeth Carter Williams, 66, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A private service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Hinson officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Elizabeth was born on July 30, 1953, in Randolph Co., to the late Harold Wayne Carter and Myrtle Rae Millikan Carter. She had retired as Licensed Practice Nurse and had attended Solid Rock Baptist Church. Elizabeth enjoyed flowers, gardening, and collecting dolls. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Hoover. She is survived by her husband, T.H. Williams of the home; sons, Tony Hall and wife Tonya of Lexington, NC, Bobby Hall and wife Alisha of Old Fort, NC; brother, John Carter and wife Susan of Tobaccoville, NC; grandchildren, Zoe Hall, Blake Hall, Tyler Hall, Micaiah Hall, Makaila Hall; brother-in-law, Vance Williams; sisters-in-law, Betty Satterfield, LaRue Cook and husband Larry, Margie Williams; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams' body will lie in state from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204
