Mrs. Myrtle Lillian Cagle Auman, 94, of 2131 Burney Road, Asheboro, NC, died Friday, September 10, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Sunday, September 12, 2010, at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Dowling officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Auman was born July 5, 1916, the daughter of the late William and Louella Vuncannon Cagle. She was an active member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Auman was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Auman, and her son, Ray Auman. Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Moore, of Asheboro, Sarah Coley and husband, Buck, of Asheboro; son, Bobby Auman, and wife, Carolyn, of Asheboro; granddaughter, Rachel Hupfeld, and husband, Bryan; grandson, Jesse Moore and fianceé, Nikki Bays. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 pm on Sunday in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund, 5224 NC Highway 134, Asheboro, NC 27205.
