Myrtis Lassiter

Myrtis Luck Lassiter, 98, of Asheboro, died Monday, June 27, 2016 at her daughter's home in Peachland, NC. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Hopewell Friends Meeting Cemetery with Rev. Larry Emerson officiating. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Lassiter was born October 17, 1917 to the late Walter and Sarah Luck. She was retired from Union Carbide and had attended Hopewell Friends Meeting. Mrs. Lassiter is survived by her daughters, Janey Moffitt of Asheboro, Darlene Clarkson of Peachland, NC: sons, William "Bill" Lassiter and wife, Shelia of Asheboro, Bobby Lassiter of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Ridge Funeral Home.
