Lawrence Monroe Boles, 83, of Trinity, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p,m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Caraway Baptist Church with Pastors Fredie Meadows and Jim Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born December 8, 1932 in Blackstone, VA, Mr. Boles was the son of the late Abe and Alza Boles. He was retired from Hatteras Yacht and was a member of Caraway Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgiana Boles; brother, Billy E. Boles; sister, Mary Hunt; and son, Donald Boles. Mr. Boles is survived by his daughters, Sandra Wells and husband, Roger of Trinity, Debra Boles of Winston-Salem; sons, William Boles and wife, Maxine of Trinity, Lawrence Boles, Jr. of High Point, James Boles and wife, Wanda of Greensboro; brother, Leo Boles and wife, Ruby of High Point; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sandra Wells.
