Mona Mcelhannon

Mona Lineberry McElhannon, 80, of Climax, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at her home. Proverbs 31: 26, 27 Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Joyce officiating. Burial will follow at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born September 15, 1935 in Randolph County, Mrs. McElhannon was the daughter of the late L.M. and Kathleen Walker Lineberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.W. McElhannon, Sr.; daughter, Jerra Gessner; and brother, Ray Lineberry. Mrs. McElhannon is survived by her daughter, Jill Joyce and husband, Karl of Climax; son, Jeff Routh and wife, Kelley of Pleasant Garden; sisters, Deloris Routh of Climax, and Brenda Patterson of Greensboro; grandchildren, Rodney, Jason, Alyssa, Aaren, Matthew and Lindsey. The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, P.O.
