Minnie Peace Hutcheson

Mrs. Minnie Jane Peace Hutcheson, 105, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, June 9, 2014, at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Roger Wisner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Hutcheson was born March 16, 1909. She was the daughter of the late Jerome Wilson Peace and Sally Ingram Peace. She was a homemaker and she loved to fish. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutcheson was preceded in death by her husband, William Gould Hutcheson, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Hutcheson is survived by special nephew, Jerry Peace and wife, Carol, of Franklinville, NC; and several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Monday, June 9, 2014, at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
