Mildred Brown Richardson

Mrs. Mildred Lois Brown Richardson, 97, of Seagrove, NC, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at High Pine Wesleyan Church with Rev. Wyatt Hoogkamp, Rev. Leon Fowler and Rev. Todd Leach officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Richmond County, NC, Mrs. Richardson was born July 11, 1915. She was the daughter of the late W. H. Brown and Minnie Williams Brown. She was a member of High Pine Wesleyan Church where she was a director of the Wesleyan Women and taught the Sunday school primary class. She was retired from General Electric. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Richardson, and her sisters, Clarice Kearns and Estelle Brown. Mrs. Richardson is survived by daughter, Lois Callicutt and husband, Leon, of Troy, NC; sons, Harvey B. Richardson and wife, Elaine, of Seagrove, NC, Maxton Richardson, of Asheboro, NC, Ray Richardson, of Troy, NC; grandchildren, Douglas Callicutt, Kevin Callicutt, Kyle Richardson, Dawn Blake, Rev. Darren Richardson, John Richardson, Renee Rowland, Krystal Wright; 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
