Mildred Fore Needham

Mildred Elizabeth Fore Needham Mildred Elizabeth Needham, 86, of Asheboro, died Sunday, January 3, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Amity Hills Baptist Church Rev. Brian Faircloth with burial to follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Needham was born August 2, 1929 in Cameron, NC, a daughter of the late Charles Henry Fore and Maude Hicks Fore. She was retired from Acme McCrary in Asheboro. Mrs. Needham was a lifelong member of Amity Hills Baptist Church, she loved her Lord and Savior! She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a prayer warrior for her family, friends and church. Mrs. Mildred's Christian attitude and actions showed God's love each and every day. Her favorite pastime was her family. She loved keeping all six of her grand kids growing up and loved her three great-grand kids. Mildred was an avid fan of the Carolina Tarheels and the Carolina Panthers. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Edward Needham and her first grandchild, Clinton Michael Smith. She was the last surviving sibling of eight children including Ervin Fore, Curt Fore, Cliff Fore, Glen Fore, Harold Fore, Margaret Fore Diffee and Jean Fore Kiser. Mrs. Needham is survived by her three children, Larry Edward Needham and wife, Kathy, Brenda Needham Smith and Bobbie Needham Brim and husband, Randy, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Nikki Crofoot (Andy), Amanda Smith, Katie Lopienski (John), Kelli Lowe (Jonathan) and Suzanne Needham; great-grandchildren, Madison Arroyo, Janna Smith and Jack Lowe. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Amity Hills Baptist Church, prior to the service and other times at the home.
