Mildred "Millie" Faye Hill Hughes, 63, of Asheboro, died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her home. A private memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Reaves and Rev. Gary Mason officiating. The service will be livestreamed and available for viewing on Ridge Funeral Home's Facebook Page. Mildred was born on November 9, 1956, in Davidson Co., NC, to the late Martin Henry Hill and Agnes Colleen Owens Hill. She was a registered nurse who worked at Wesley Long Hospital also in home health care. Mildred attended Balfour Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains, crocheting, and spending time with her family and especially her grandbabies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Hill; sister, Judy Laughlin; and brother-in-law, Ray Laughlin. Mildred is survived by her husband, Eddie Hughes of the home; daughters, Leigh Morris of Asheboro, Jennifer Lynn Miller (Kenny) of Randleman; stepdaughter, Jamie Hughes (James Ivie) of Gray's Chapel; sister, Penny Cox of WA; sister-in-law, Dianne Hill; grandchildren, Kenadie Miller, Camden Miller, J.D. Ivie. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203
