Mildred Cromer

Mildred Lucille Seabolt Cromer, 94, of Asheboro, died Sunday, March 1, 2020, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro, with Rev. Cliff Van Vliet officiating. Mildred was born on December 3, 1925, in Halifax Co., NC, to the late John Randolph Seabolt and Bertha Whitley Seabolt. She was retired from Black & Decker, and was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church. She loved cooking and working on crossword and word search puzzles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmo "Buck" Cromer; and son, Tommy Cromer. She is survived by her granddaughter, Tammy Cromer Wilson and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Christopher Nilsson, Shawn Nilsson, Kristin Wilson; great-great grandchildren, Brantlee Nolan and Phoenix Nolan. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204
