Mike Small

Johnny Michael "Mike" Small, 61, of Farmer, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. At his request, no services will be held. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home. Mr. Small was born September 18, 1957, in Randolph County. He loved being a heavy equipment operator. He loved race cars, enjoyed farm equipment, and flying airplanes. Mr. Small was preceded in death by his father, Max Small, and his brother, Dean Small. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith Small, of the home; daughter, Nicole Ewing, of Asheboro; son, Shane Small of Denton, and his fiancée Erica Hill and her daughter Sophia; mother, Edith Small, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Milea Canoy of Salisbury, and Cameron Canoy of Asheboro.
