Mike Robbins

Mr. James Michael Robbins, 60, of Ramseur, NC, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Blackburn officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Robbins was born March 22, 1951. He was the son of Marjorie Brady Robbins Kracher and the late Joe Thomas Robbins, Jr. He graduated from Randleman High School in 1969. He spent many years as a brick mason and later worked from Triad Heating and Cooling in Asheboro. Mr. Robbins was an avid horseman, a great lover of animals and the outdoors. He and his wife spent many wonderful hours riding horses together and with friends. He as an active supporter of the Cowboy Church Network, a member of 4-B Chapel in El Dorado, Triad Cowboy Church in Archdale and Heaven Bound Trail Riders. Mr. Robbins, in addition to his mother, is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Triggs Robbins, of the home; sister, Susan Anderson, of Cumming, Ga.; son, James Michael Robbins, II; and granddaughter, Kambrie Robbins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
