Mike Mcneill

Mr. Michael Ray "Mike" McNeill, 47, of Seagrove, NC, died Friday, July 29, 2011, at his residence and surrounded by his family. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, August 1, 2011, at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. McNeill was born August 5, 1963. He was the son of Gearthie "Dot" McNeill, of Seagrove, and the late Charles "Put" Calvin McNeill. Mike worked for the furniture industry and loved working with the band saw. His hobbies were working on classic cars, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Beedie. Mr. McNeill, in addition to his mother, is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marty McNeill, of the home; daughters, Charlie Forehand, Angela Forehand, both of Seagrove, NC; Tammy Rodder, of Creedmoor, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Forehand, Eddie Forehand, Chris Forehand, Daniel Reatherford; sisters, Joanne Stanley, Pat Ledmon, all of Asheboro, NC, Phyllis Faulkner, of Thomasville, NC, Norma Brannen and husband, Robbie, of Star, NC, Barbara Sheffield, of Asheboro, NC; brother, Jimmy McNeill and wife, Donna, of Pleasant Garden, NC; brother-in-law, Earl Sheffield, of Seagrove, NC; and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. The family will receive friends from 6:00 "� 8:00 pm Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
