Mike Loflin

Joseph Michael "Mike" Loflin, 53, of Asheboro, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Pastor Roger Price and Rev. Junior Dawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Born in Randolph County, NC, on February 24, 1965, Mike was the son of Joseph "Joe" Loflin, of Asheboro, and the late Juanita Vuncannon Loflin. He was employed with Steel Supply and Erection Co. in Asheboro. He attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Mike enjoyed working, being outdoors and listening to bluegrass and gospel music. In addition to his mother, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Loflin. Surviving in addition to his father, are his girlfriend, Debbie Moody, of Asheboro; sons, Samuel Tate and wife, Jamee, of Ramseur, Joseph Michael Loflin, Jr. and wife, Courtney, of Ramseur; daughters, Hannah Freeman and husband, Tyler, of Carthage, Hannah Staley, of Asheboro; sister, Shannon Loflin Cox and husband, Raygene, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Kayley, Trevor, Paityn, Aaliyah, Oakley, Peyton, Cierra, LilyAnnah, Kindle; and nephew, Matthew. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
