Melynda Ann Hill Davis, 60, of Asheboro, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 at High Point Medical Center in High Point.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Farmer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Daniel Delaney officiating.
Born on April 8, 1965, in Randolph County, Melynda was the daughter of the late David Harrison Hill and Mary Louise Hancock Hill. She was the hardest worker at Walmart. Melynda was a sweet, good woman, who loved her husband. She enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids grow, taking naps, drinking coffee, collecting snowmen, being near the water (pool or beach), helping others and spending time with her family. Melynda loved the Lord. She made it a priority to bring her children up in the church and she enjoyed listening to gospel music.
In addition to her parents, Melynda was preceded in death by her daughter, Chatel Aikens; and niece, Delana Flynt.
Surviving are husband of 36 years, Ronald Davis of the home; children, Amanda Toney (Paul) of Asheboro, Brandon Davis of Virginia, Christopher Davis (Kelly) of Idaho; sister, Crystal Branch of Asheboro; brother, David Brian Hill of Asheboro; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home.
