Melissa W. Gladden

Mrs. Melissa Rose Woods Gladden, 26, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A native of Lowell, MA, Mrs. Gladden was born May 17, 1984. She was the daughter of James Patrick Woods and Veronica Mae Manning Woods, of Asheboro. She had attended Southwestern Randolph High School and was preceded in death by her "Nana", Rose Marie King. Mrs. Gladden, in addition to her parents, is survived by her husband, Christopher Gladden, of the home; daughters, McKayla Gladden, Haileigh Gladden, both of the home; sister, Krystle Woods, of Asheboro, NC; brother, James Woods, III, of Asheboro, NC, nieces, Amelia Dawley, Shyann Wilkerson; uncles, Neeley King and wife, Cindy, Keith Gelinas, Sonny Hayes and wife, Peggy, of Asheboro, NC; cousins, Danielle, Neeley III, Kyle, and dear friends, Chris and Ashley Harris. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
