Maxine Little Mcdonald

Helen Maxine McDonald, 90, of Star, formerly of Asheboro, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at High Pine Wesleyan Church with Rev. Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born February 1, 1926 in Guilford County, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the late William and Ola Little. She was retired from Bost Neckwear and she attended High Pine Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee McDonald; brother, William Little; and sister, Dot Congleton. Mrs. McDonald is survived by her daughter, Rama Odom and husband, Floyd of Star; son, David Lee Little and wife, Dewana of Stoney Point; sister, Martha Stafford of Troy; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, at the church, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
