Maxine Somers Denny

Maxine Somers Denny, 67, of Randleman, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. A graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday August 10, 2015, at Liberty Road Baptist Church Cemetery, Asheboro. Born on April 28, 1948, Mrs. Denny was the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Sommers. She had worked in the furniture industry and enjoyed watching tv and playing with her cat, Miss Kitty. Surviving are daughters, Lisa Zimmerman Brown, of Greensboro, Deborah Little, of Riedsville; grandchildren, Melanie Shown, Danielle Zimmerman, both of Asheboro, Jacob Craven, of Greensboro; and great grandchildren, Tyler Harrington and Danny Posey. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, Monday, August 10, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home.
