Mary Boggs Padgett

Mary Ann Boggs Padgett, 73, of Asheboro, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home. A private graveside memorial service will be held at Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur, with Pastor J.R. Gossett officiating. Born in Randolph County, NC, on March 27, 1947, Mary was the daughter of the late Charlie Boggs and Bertie Owens Boggs. She had worked at Jockey International and Bossong Hosiery. Mary was also a licensed cosmetologist and a member of Community Baptist Church. She loved going to the beach and she loved her family, especially her kids, grandchildren and grand dogs. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ayers. Surviving are her daughter, Tamatha McNeill and husband Bobby of Asheboro; son, Floyd Everette Davis, Jr. and wife Lisa of Randleman; sisters, Charlotte Marie Lee of Castleberry, VA, Marjorie Parrot of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Jacob Padgett, Jordan Davis, Zack Ayers and Summer Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
