Mary Betty Odom

Mrs. Mary Betty Thomas Odom, 78, of 661 Cable Creek Road, Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, February 03, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, February 5, 2010, at Back Creek Friends Meeting, where she was a member, with the Rev. John Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Odom was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Klaussner Furniture. She was a member of Back Creek Friends Meeting and was the widow of W.E. "Catfish" Odom. Survivors include her son, Ben Odom and wife, Rhonda, of the home; sisters, Doris T. Gordon, of Lexington, Iris T. Hinson, of Asheboro; brother, Kermit M. Thomas, of Asheboro; grandchild, Brian Moss and wife, Karen; great grandsons, Will Moss and Troy Moss. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010, and other times at the home.
