Mary Alley Mintz

Mary Alley Mintz, 86, formerly of Randleman, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her home in Southport. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Charles Reeder officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Caldwell County, Mrs. Mintz was born July 15, 1928 to the late Zeb and Pearl Hinson Alley. She was retired from J.P. Stevens in Randleman and enjoyed doing crafts, traveling and watching baseball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband ,Worth Mintz and a son, Robert Mintz. Mrs. Mintz is survived by her son, Greg Mintz and wife, Janet of Southport; sister, Shirley Champion of Jamestown; brothers, Johnny Alley of Wilmington, Loy Alley of FL; ,five grandchildren, James "Jim" Mintz, Connie Towe, Kimberly Deweese, Kevin Mintz, Tina Hiskett; two stepgrandchildren, Tracy Bailey and Carla Earnhart; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
