Mary Ludlum

Mary Ellen Brantley Ludlum, 75, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC, with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Ludlum was born October 7, 1939, the daughter of the late James and Bessie Trotter Brantley. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and retired from Acme-McCrary after 48 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with the loves of her life, her granddaughter and great grandsons. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ludlum was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Yow. Mrs. Ludlum is survived by her husband, Bill Ludlum, of the home, son and daughter in-law, Ken and Karen Ludlum, of Asheboro, NC, sisters, Louise Cole, Betty McMillan, JoAnn Cranford, all of Asheboro, NC, grandchild, Kristin and Daniel Jones, of Asheboro, NC, great grandchildren, Preston Jones and Kyle Jones, of Asheboro, NC.
