Mary White Loflin, 90, of Asheboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, December 2, 2019. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Randolph Memorial with Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Mrs. Loflin was born March 31, 1929 in Surry County, the daughter of the late Thomas Winfield White and Lucy Snow White, and the youngest of 11 children. She was educated in the Dobson County Schools, attended Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church, and was retired from Union Carbide. Mary grew heirloom vegetables and shared them with family and friends. She enjoyed bee keeping and harvesting honey. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loflin was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cleamon Loflin, five brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela L. Maness and husband Ronald of Asheboro; grandson, Bryan Maness and wife Kristen of Raleigh; granddaughter, Courtney Dubis and husband Gabe of Greenville, NC; and great grandchildren, Caleb Maness, Aaron Maness, Isaiah Maness, and Kara Maness. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Thursday, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204
