Mary Holtzclaw

Mary Helen Fuller Holtzclaw, 56, died on Saturday, March 18th at her home in Asheboro. Mary was born on January 5, 1961 in Griffin, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband John Holtzclaw, her father Cecil Fuller, and her sisters Wanda Frazier and Tammy Roberts. Mary is survived by her son, Bryan Holtzclaw of Asheboro; her daughter, Helen Holtzclaw Davis, husband Shane Davis, and granddaughter Abigail Davis of Mountain Top, PA; mother Shirley Morgan of Asheboro; sisters Gloria Whitaker and Linda Aaragon of Harpster, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was the heart of her family. She was also a talented painter. In addition to being a homemaker, she also worked at various manufacturing jobs. She will be most remembered for her loving devotion to her family and for her generous spirit. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd at 4:00 p.m. at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro with Pastor Kenneth Davis officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. Mary will be buried with her husband John at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
