Mary Greene

Mary Lee Snider Greene, 87, of Asheboro, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Hauk and Rev. Alex Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at West Chapel UMC Cemetery. Born May 25, 1930 in Randolph County, Mrs. Greene was the daughter of the late Brantley and Rosa Snider. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Greene; son, Ricky Greene; sisters, Edith Carmac, Lucille Davis, Frances Brown, Gertrude Small; brothers, Glenn, Edward and Roy Snider; and grandson, Brad Lewallen. Survivors include her daughters, Pat Lewallen and husband, Richard of Sophia, Phyllis McSwain of Cordova, Sandra Shelton of Asheboro; son, Johnny Greene of Asheboro; sister, Annie Mae Rush of Raleigh; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at her home.
