Marty Mcneill

Marty Lou "Louie" Ross McNeill, 67, of Star, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her home. Born October 11, 1948 in Prince Frederick, MD, Marty was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Eleanor Virginia Ross. She began her nursing career in 1978 in Maryland and she moved to NC in 1997 to continue her career. The last 15 years she was employed by Randolph Hospital. Marty received numerous awards and certificates from employers through the years proving she was a very valuable employee. Her caring, concern and selflessness for her patients went above and beyond the call of duty. Marty's hobbies included her family, traveling, her nursing career and the patients she cared for. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Freddy Grierson. Marty is survived by her loving fiancé, Kenneth Lee Gallimore; children, Charlie Forehand and wife, Donna, of Seagrove, Tammy Davies and husband, Greg of Creedmoor; sisters, Evelyn Elliot of Mayo, MD, Margie Peterson of Annapolis, MD, Ginnie Cauchon of Alabama, Mary Carter of Virginia, Cathy Vaughan of Annapolis, MD, Henny Brown of Denton, MD, and Martha Elsey of Chester, MD; grandchildren, Ashley, Eddie and Daniel; and her brothers and sisters-in-laws.
