Mark T. Landon

Mr. Mark Terry Landon, 54, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home with Harvey Allred officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Landon was born June 11, 1959. He completed the radiology technician program at Sandhills Community College and the physician's assistant program at Wake Forest University. He also received a degree in zoology from UNC-Chapel Hill. He was a physician assistant and he was also an instructor at Brookstone College in Greensboro, where he had the opportunity to fulfill his passion for teaching and helping others. Mr. Landon is survived by significant other, Jackie Chriscoe, of the home; son, Zachary Landon, of Walkertown, NC; and parents, Jackie and Lucy Landon, of Asheboro, NC.
