Marie Wood

Marie Elena Wood, 58, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her home. No services are scheduled. Mrs. Wood was born October 23, 1959 in Randolph County. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wood enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Wood; and by a sister, Mary Elizabeth "Lisa" Wood. Survivors include her daughter, Hollie Latham of Greensboro; son, Brandon Carrick of Asheboro; mother, Nannette Wood of Asheboro; sister, Teresa Wood of Asheboro; brothers, Michael "Spanky" Wood of Asheboro and Kevin Wood of Seagrove; and grandchildren, Amber Edward and William Renick Fitzpatrick.
