Marie Jarrell Langley

Marie Jarrell Langley, 67, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Wall and Rev. Jeff Garner officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Langley was born August 1, 1948 to the late Raymond and Helen Hill Jarrell. She was a member of Amity Hills Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Jarrell; and two brothers, Tommy and Larry Jarrell. She is survived by her husband, Larry D. Langley of the home; sister, Pat Poole of Asheboro; brothers, Gilbert Jarrell (Kitten) of California, Phillip Jarrell and Vance Jarrell, both of Asheboro; five nieces, Vickie Sykes, Stacy Mushakian, Shelly Szeligas, Gidget Woodward, Tanisha Jarrell; three nephews, Tony Poole, Randy Poole, J.R. Jarrell; 13 great nieces and nephews, including, Laura Sykes. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
