Marie Cox Hussey

Della Marie Cox Hussey, 84, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2015, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC, with Rev. Gerald Hussey officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, NC. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Mrs. Hussey was born January 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Ona McNeill Cox. She had retired from Jockey International. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hussey was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hussey, her brothers, Harvey Cox, Gilbert Cox, and her sister, Ruby Lineberry. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Hussey Fritz, of Asheboro; son, Greg Hussey, of the home; sisters, Louise Maness, of Asheboro, Coleen Marley, of Coleridge; sisters-in-law, Becky Hare, of Robbins, Betty Hunt, of Asheboro, Callie King, of Seagrove, Nancy Cox, of Asheboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
