Marian Lois Neilson

Marian Lois Keck Neilson, 91, of Asheboro, died Friday, July 5, 2019 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Butler and Rev. Ricky Sessoms officiating. Born on April 1, 1928 in Berwick, Pennsylvania, Marian was the daughter of the late Fred Eber Keck and Hazel Anna Adams Keck. She was a member of Hopewell Friends Meeting, and had been active in the Ladies' Society. She had worked at Belk Yates in the Alterations Department. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Julius Neilson; grandchildren, Bethann Woodell and Brett Siegel. Surviving are her daughters Winona Neilson Smith of Asheboro, Brenda Neilson Siegel and her husband James of Berwick, PA.; sisters, Louise Smith of Berwick, Pa., Carolyn Bower and her husband Thomas of Berwick, Pa.; grandchildren, Eric Smith, Carolann Bordwell, Christopher Siegel, Steven Smith, Todd Siegel, and 14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
