Margie Huff

Margie Marie Snider Huff, 90, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2018, at West Asheboro Baptist Church, Asheboro. Officiating will be Rev. Samuel K. Hicks and Rev. Jeff Johnson. The entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Davidson Co., NC, Mrs. Huff was born August 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Edgar and Nannie Haltom Snider. She had retired from Burlington Industries after 24 years of service, and again from Big Lots after 10 years of service. She was the oldest member of West Asheboro Baptist Church. She was also a charter member of the church when it was founded nearly 50 years ago. She was loving mother and grandmother and was beloved by all. Her pride and joy were her grandsons and she loved being a "Nana." In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Huff. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Yarborough and husband, Donald, of Asheboro; grandsons, Jamie Yarborough, Jeremiah Yarborough; and brother, Raymond Snider, of Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home.
