Margie Harvell

Margie Elizabeth Harvell, 82, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Johnson. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Moore Co., NC, Miss Harvell was born September 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Burl and Bessie Harvell. She had worked at Loflin Hosiery and loved to garden. In addition to her parents, Miss Harvell was preceded in death by her brothers, James Clayton Harvell and John Floyd Harvell. Survivors include her sisters, Annie Harvell King and husband, Milton, of Asheboro, Clara Perry and husband, Lewis, of Randleman, Bernice K. Melton, of Appling, GA; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home.
