Margaret Smith Wall

Margaret Lee Smith Wall, 85, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Community Church Cemetery with Dr. Jody Harrison officiating. Mrs. Wall was born June 2, 1929 to the late Troy and Emma Smith. She was co-owner/operator of H.E. Wall Lumber Company and had previously worked for Hughes Furniture. Mrs. Wall was a member of Mt. Pleasant Community Church and enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis E. Wall; sister, Erline Kimble; and her brother, Jerry Smith. Mrs. Wall is survived by two sons, Michael Wall and wife, Debbie of Asheboro, Kenneth Wall and wife, Kendra of Asheboro; two granddaughters, Amy Sugg and husband, Brian, Michelle Poindexter and husband, Randy; five great-grandchildren, Abby Poindexter, Maggie Poindexter, Emma Poindexter, Lexie Sugg and Chase Sugg. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
