Margaret Aulet McCoy, 90, of Asheboro, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at her home. A private service will be held and she will be laid to rest beside her husband, William McNeil "Mack" McCoy at Randolph Memorial Park. Born March 29, 1927 in Manhattan, NY, Mrs. McCoy was the daughter of the late Pedro and Maria Aulet, formerly of Puerto Rico. She worked at Randolph County Health Department as an interpreter. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mrs. McCoy loved to crochet, read, dance and travel, play canasta and spend time with her family. She was an excellent cook, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Aulet. Surviving are her sons, Ernest McCoy and wife, Sarah McCoy, Kevin McCoy and wife, Virginia Mata McCoy, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Casey S. McCoy and his children, Melissa A. McCoy, Michael S. McCoy and his son, Brentley Michael McCoy, and Edith "Mani" Mata-Torres. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Building Fund, 512 W. Wainman Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.
