Margaret Mcneill Hunter

Margaret Marie McNeill Hunter, 92, of Asheboro, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Richland Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Born in Moore County on September 23, 1923, Mrs. Hunter was the daughter of the late Neal McNeill and Mattie Allred McNeill. She was retired from Walker Shoe Company and she was a member of Richland Baptist Church. She loved working outside in her yard with her flowers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Hunter and her great granddaughters, Anna and Alayah. Surviving are her daughter, Pam Luck, of Asheboro; sons, Van Hunter and wife, Ann, of Asheboro, Steve Hunter and wife, Cheryl, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Leslie Ellis, Ryan Hunter, Dana Lester, Carla Hill; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 11, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Van and Ann Hunter.
