Margaret Elizabeth Conley Brown, 80, of Asheboro, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Hospice Home at High Point in High Point.
A celebration of life will be held from 11:30 a.m until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Randolph County Senior Adults Center, 347 W. Salisbury Street, Asheboro. Refreshments will be provided.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on April 16, 1944, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late James Francis and Antoinette Marie Gianfala Conley. She worked as an office manager at H. Leon Brown Agency for Nationwide Insurance for over 30 years.
Margaret was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an avid reader who enjoyed crocheting, and playing computer games. She loved eating, especially Italian food, and loved her pets. Her biggest joy was being near water. Margaret loved sitting on her porch at Badin Lake watching the water, and even fishing. In fact, being at the lake was the happiest part of her retirement.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, H. Leon Brown.
She is survived by her sons, Walter Pavlik, II, (Amber) of High Point, James A. Pavlik (Janine) of Sterling, VA; step children, Teresa Highfill (Billy) of Charlotte, Jeff Brown (John McJunkin) of Huntersville, David Brown of New London; sister, Francine Litter of Joppatowne, MD; grandchildren, Holly Brown, Justin Highfill, Jordan Highfill, Amanda Holbrook, Walter "Trey" Pavlik, III; and great granddaughter, Laela Highfill.

The family would like to extend a heart filled thank you for they staff at Hospice of the Piedmont for the loving care the provided to our mother.
