Margaret Caroline Antrim

Margaret Antrim of Defiance, OH and formerly Donna, TX entered Heaven's Gates on 18 Oct 2010. She was born 14 July 1923 in Mebane, NC to Rev. John Thomas Kenyon and Annie Wilson Burton (dec.1927) and raised by her father and step-mother, Edna Scott Kenyon. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gayther, Wilbur, Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Thomas Kenyon, Jr. and sisters, Estella, Myra McFarland, Annie, and Esther Kernodle. Margaret attended People's Bible School in Greensboro, NC and met and married her college sweetheart, Carl Wesley Antrim 3 Aug 1941. He preceded her in death in Nov, 2005 after 64 yrs of marriage. Margaret served the Lord in ministry, music ministry, education, and evangelism with her husband in churches and missions throughout the United States, Mexico, and New Guinea from 1958 until 2005. Margaret is survived by her children, Carl Wesley Antrim, Jr. (Jean), Trinity, NC; Joyce Antrim, Defiance, OH; Ron (Vicki) Antrim, Asheboro, NC; Steve Antrim (Lisa), Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law, Minnie Kenyon, Liberty, NC; Ruby Kenyon, Asheboro, NC; and Kay Antrim Goodhue, Nordland, WA. The family will receive friends at Mt. Tabor Community Church from 11:00am until the service at 1:00pm on Sat 23 Oct.. Service will be conducted by Rev. Benjamin Stowe and Rev.Stephen Stowe with burial following in the church cemetery.
