Madie Mcneill Jordan

Mrs. Madie Jane McNeill Jordan, 91, of Seagrove, NC, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, July 16, 2012, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Chaney and Dr. Kenneth McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Moore County, NC, Mrs. Jordan was born October 11, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Henry "Duck"� McNeill and Sarah Helen Latham McNeill. She was a homemaker and a faithful and dedicated member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She loved to quilt, cook, garden, and spend time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jordan; sister, Bonnie McNeill Beane; brothers, Grady McNeill, Colon McNeill, Carl McNeill; and grandson, Terry Dunn. Mrs. Jordan is survived by daughters, Louise Jordan Dunn and husband, Roby, of Seagrove, Sarah Jordan Boroughs and husband, Ronald, of Asheboro; sons, Farrell Jordan, of the home, Sammy Jordan, of Seagrove; sisters, Annie Mofield, of Seagrove, Eva Garner and husband, Bill, of Robbins; brothers, Floyd McNeill and wife, Zelma, of Seagrove, Garland McNeill and wife, Joyce, of Bennett; grandchildren, Randy Dunn and wife, Rhonda, of Asheboro, Douglas Dunn, of Seagrove, Ronda Sue Dunn, of Seagrove; great grandchildren, Chad Dunn, of Asheboro, Holly Kramer and husband, Jay, of Cameron, Bradley Dunn and wife, Rickki, of Seagrove, Reuben Dunn, of Seagrove; and step great-great grandchild, Kyla Lamonds. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
