Lynne Ann Scofield

Lynne Ann Melvin Scofield, 80, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

Born on February 10, 1945, in Flushing Queens, NY, Lynne was the daughter of the late James Francis Melvin and Velma Martha Fuchs Melvin. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sons, William Burlum (Lisa), Frank Scofield (Regina), Matthew Scofield (Melissa), James Scofield (Misty); ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time. She will be laid to rest at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY, with her daughter, Lori Ann Burlum, who preceded her in death.
