Lynne Hill

Miss Roberta Lynne Hill (Lynne), of Seagrove, NC, passed away, Sunday, October 9, 2011, at the age of 49. She is survived by her twins, daughter Bridgett Smith and her husband, Ben, and her son, Brandon Hill, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Geraldine Latham, of Asheboro, NC, Katherine Moore, of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Patrick Sheffeild, and Warren Spurlock, of Robbins, NC; grandchildren, Alexandria Smith (2), Christopher Hill (2), and Zoey Hill (1); nieces, Caitlin Latham, and Amy Martin. She is remembered with great love by Mark Jarrell, her lifetime companion. Lynne was born August 1, 1962. She lived primarily in Randolph County. She was raised by her grandparents, the late James and Roxie Hill. Lynne loved music, dancing, modeling, watching classic western shows, and enjoying her grandchildren. In addition to her grandparents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Hill. For the past decade Lynne has been fighting a battle for her life. During her life she has touched our lives, and her presence in our lives is a gift we can all be thankful for. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
