Lula Ingle

Lula Bowman Fortner Ingle, 70, of Randleman, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jarrod Midkiff officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born August 16, 1947 in Giles County, VA, Mrs. Ingle was the daughter of the late Ballard and Ocie Harris Fortner. She was employed at Brookdale Assisted Living and had previously worked at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. Mrs. Ingle enjoyed spending time with her family and working outdoors in her fowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine sisters. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Ingle of the home; daughters, Cynthia Day of Winston-Salem, Katrina Spach (David) of Winston-Salem, Amber Mikesell (Eric) of Ohio, Elizabeth Wood of Randleman, Linda Henley of Randleman, Lisa Ingle of Farmer; sisters, Hazel Stanley (Wayne) of Narrow, VA, Christine Delk of Mocksville; grandchildren, Brandon Luck, Kayla Spach, Cody Spach, Grayson Bodhamer, Michael Mikesell, Zachary Mikesell, Christine Maness, T.W. Wood, Jessica Wood, Johnathan Wood, Amanda Henley, Christopher Henley; 17 great-grandchildren including, "Nana's Heart" Serenity Spach. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday at Ridge Funeral Home, prior to the service and other times at the home.
