Lucille Sapp

Lucille Melton Sapp, 86, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, December 27 at her residence. Graveside service will be conducted 12:30 pm, Friday, January 2, 2015, at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro with Rev. Tony Williams officiating. A native of Kings Mountain, NC, Mrs. Sapp was born June 9, 1928, the daughter of the late George and Molly Peele Melton. she was retired from Davis Furniture Company. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bobby Ray Sapp. Mrs. Sapp is survived by her daughters, Viki Hill, Donna Cranford, Penny Sapp; sons, Robert Ray Sapp (Marie), Donald Eugene "Gene" Sapp (Deborah), James "Jimmy" Sapp; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro.
