Louise C. Kidd

Mary Louise Carter Kidd, 86, of Asheboro, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Deep River Baptist Church Cemetery in Ramseur with Pastor Sam Talley officiating. Born in Randolph County, NC on June 16, 1930, Mrs. Kidd was the daughter of the late Eddie Ross Carter and Elizabeth Foster Carter. She excelled at and loved growing flowers, cooking and interior decorating. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her husband, Roland B. Kidd, children, Rose Mary Kidd, Calvin Dean Kidd, and Roland Junior Kidd. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda C. Stovall and husband, Bud of Siler City, Virginia K. Rich and husband, Edward of Asheboro; son, Roger Kidd and wife, Joyce of Asheboro; brother, Wayne Carter, of Central Falls; sisters, Lorraine Jackson of Franklinville, Barbara Brower of Asheboro; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
