Louise Jarmon, 90, of Asheboro, died Saturday, July 27, 2019, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Dr. Bishop J. Harold Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born on August 3, 1928, in Newark, New Jersey, Mrs. Jarmon was the daughter of the late John Edward Johnson and Charlotte Jean Shelton Johnson. She was married to Mr. William Jarmon for 42 years and was the mother of 12 children. She has lived in Asheboro for the past 15 years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jarmon was preceded in death by her children, Beverly, Lester, Barbara, Dexter, Ronald, Keith, and Kim Jarmon. Surviving are her daughters, Deborah Jarmon of Linden, NJ, Cheryl Jarmon of Asheboro, Sharon Jarmon-Thomas and husband William of Plainfield, NJ, Lynne Jarmon of Asheboro; son, Kevin Jarmon and wife Venesa of Walnut Port, PA; sisters, Vivian Johnson of New York, Estelle Davis of New Jersey; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
