Louise Lewis Garner, 79, of Asheboro, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Sandy Ridge Memory Care in Candor. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at West Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Chaney and Rev. Lee Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born June 28, 1937 in Moore County, Mrs. Garner was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Mary Thomas Lewis. She was retired from Rampon and a member of West Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Garner; and great-granddaughter, Emmy Spicer. Mrs. Garner is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Garner Dunn of Greensboro; sons, Bill Garner and wife, Chris, Tom Garner and wife, Delores, Wesley Garner and wife, Joyce, all of Asheboro; sister, Delores Lassiter and husband, Larry, of Troy; brother, James Lewis of Asheboro; grandchildren, Adam Garner, Matt Garner, Cody Garner, Terry Garner, Crystal Garner, Alan Garner, Rodney Spicer, Brandy Collins and Chad Dunn; and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Susan G.
